Stir fry is a quick and heart meal made with meat, vegetables, rice, and soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8cupscooked rice
  • 2-3cupsuncooked chicken - diced
  • 2cuosbroccoli
  • 2cupscarrots - sliced thinly
  • 120 oz.canstir fry vegetables
  • 18 oz. canwater chestnuts
  • 1/2cupsoy sauceregular or reduced salt
  • 1cupwater
  • 1tspsaltmay be omitted
  • 1tspsugarmay be omitted
  • 2tbspcorn starch

Method

1. Cook rice according to instructions while prparing and cooking the stir fry.

2. Dice raw chicken into 1 inch pieces.

3. Place sauce ingredients in a bowl - do not stir.

4. Add oil to wok or other cooking pan.

5. Heat wok oil shimmers.

6. Stip fry chicken until no longer pink.

7. Transfer cooked chicken to a bowl and set aside.

8. Stir fry vegetables adding the longest cooking items first.

9. Before vegatable are completely cooked, stir sauce ingredients together and add to vegetable mixture.

10. Continue to heat until sauce thickens, stirring regularly

11. Add cooked chicken to vegetable mixture.

12. Serve over hot rice.
